This has been finished a couple of weeks and today was temperate and sunny, so I took a few quick pics. I used my custom compound, floral foam, cardboard, newsprint and some amber-colored beads I found in the troughs at the last-ditch GW recently. The red gem in the center of the yellow circle was also found there. I painted with acrylic paints per usual. It measures 12.5 inches tall, 5.25 inches wide and something around .50 inches deep. The base is 3.5 inches wide and 2.75 inches deep. Original Jones Art does what he does in northwest Austin, Texas. Like he has a choice?

Looks like a most proud rooster. Really expressive one!

Artist Reply: Yes, those roosters do have a tendency to get a bit cocky, Nikolay. Thanks for the nice comment and take care. :)

HE LOOKS RATHER UNHAPPY WITH HIS BEAUTY MARK. CHARLES. LOL

Artist Reply: I thought the expression might be interpreted as numb or neutral, Joanie. BUT I've noticed everyone sees things a bit differently. Brains are funny little things. Hope you are doing well. :)

It's a classic, Charles : ) All your 3d's have a solid mark of quality . I like how you're using those found objects from the GW . Great work !

Artist Reply: Thanks, Dave. I found a rather large cache of beads my last trip. The ones I used here were found there on the trip before. But, yes, I think objects found should find themselves in my pieces when applicable. I found some with letters on them that I'd like to incorporate but haven't come up with a project yet. My current project is larger and a bit different and I hope the sun continues to cooperate. :)
