Nice warm feel to this even with the cool blues, Dave. I actually saved a bird from a cat yesterday. I don't know why the dove didn't just fly away to save itself. But while I was talking to the cat---in a stern voice, I might add---the bird went somewhere and was soon out of sight. The cat, by this time, had lost interest. it was obviously a well-fed house cat. :)

I get morning doves in my yard , and they seem to have poor eyesight because at first it seems they don't mind my presence , then after oh I'd say a minute or two, they fly off as if startled. Interesting .
