We, in our affluent society, move through life in a carefully curated perspective of a wealthy society. Yet the unfortunate, those who live in poverty and homelessness remain, on the periphery of our vision. Present, yet unseen. Their struggles are softened by knowing that there are charities out there to help them. This painting is about those unfortunate people. Forcing us to see what we choose to ignore. The hidden part of society that we pretend doesn’t exist.
