The sculpture is made of resin and embedded with optical fibers—a unique technique practiced exclusively by Sculi and protected by an INPI patent. Light is transmitted via the optical fibers, which operate independently of the LEDs housed in the base. The LEDs are standard, commercially available bulbs that are easily replaced.
