"Me" is a self-portrait composed of my favorite colors and 23 pictograms representing my inner self; these pictograms are crafted from fiber optics, forming "drawings of light." A further 23 pictograms—rendered in salmon pink—are superimposed over the first set, complementing and interacting with them in a visual dialogue. The sculpture is made of resin embedded with fiber optics—a unique technique practiced exclusively by Sculi and registered with the INPI (National Institute of Industrial Property). The sculpture belongs to the "Cosmomorphism" movement, a concept that brings multiple artworks together within a single piece. Here, this is achieved through layers comprising a composition of forms, pictorial designs created with pigments, and light-based drawings embedded within the material itself.
