I have a tendency to keep things long beyond their shelf life. I recently uncovered an old Day Planner from 1968 which I didn't actually use until 1971. Inside, on the first page, I had placed an early photo of myself. This was probably the photo used in my Senior Yearbook since it was the custom to include early childhood photos of graduating classes at that time. I had never really studied the little photo. I had rather a defiant look and I appeared to have some cloth or bandage wrapped around one leg. It is roughly 6 by 3.5 inches. Original Jones Art going back to his roots in northwest Austin, Texas.

Looks like you were totally ready to conquer the world at such an early age, Charles. Despite the bandage.

Artist Reply: I have to admit, that 'serious' look has apparently been with me a long time, Nikolay. He does look feisty. :)

Super cute photo, Charles ... the expression is already discerning the weight of the world and the fence in the background kinda reminds me of the ever present dividing line in your art : ) I also like the additional photos ! Hope your day is going well

Artist Reply: The additional 'Project Images' is the reverse side of the page with my pic, Dave. On both sides you see "Poetry by Charles' which was a stamp I made just out of HS to stamp my poems and, apparently, almost anything else. You see a couple of early face drawings too. Oh, and an early initials 'signature.' So I thought it was worth including both sides. Hope all is going fine today. :)
