One Last Drag Before I Quit (Again).

122cm x 122cm - This painting is about quitting cigarettes and it's insidiously addictive qualities. It is an addiction that's Way worse than heroin addiction. Just not as expensive. It is the most useless recreational drug of all. It doesn't even get you 'stoned', which is the primary purpose of using recreational drugs. All it gives you is a very mild cheap 'high' to keep you going until the next 'hit' - another cigarette. I need one! Unlike other 'Drugs Of Addiction' with strict regulations, cigarettes are freely sold in any supermarket, milk-bars, and service stations, etc. Making access incredibly easy and fueling the addiction. They are the Only recreational drug that gives you cancer. Millions of people around the world die from it every day. A fact that should make smoking them unthinkable. ...Until you flick on the cigarette-lighter and exhale a satisfying plume of smoke. I've reached the end of my cigarette. This is the last drag. Next time, for sure! Yeah, right….
