Wonderful watercolor painting.

Artist Reply: Thank you, Debra. This painting is actually a Chinese Brush painting which is different style than watercolor. Art Wanted does not have a choice for Chinese brush...only watercolor would be the closest it. The main difference is although water is used, the actual color comes from minerals or stones I use to blend for color. It is also because of the paper that is used. First is a single layer of rice paper, then a second layer of rice paper is bonded on to give it strength and stability. The final action is bonding a silk border to the painting, thus it becomes part of the painting itself, much like a mat. Alas, I asked art wanted to add another classification as Chinese Brush, but have not heard back from them. Hope your having a great day.....
