This collage combines the ink drawing "Girl and dragon" (2024) and the oil painting "Red irises" (2022). The black and white outline of the first painting, personifying logic, coexists perfectly with the multi-colored spontaneity of the second painting - just like in the yin-yang philosophy, which is so beloved in Eastern countries. Separately, "Red irises" is a praise to nature, the flowering of life. The original color scheme was transformed into a greenish one to create a more surreal mood. "Girl and dragon" expressed the need to appease aggressive forces so that they do not destroy a person. It is impossible to defeat them, but it is quite possible to lull their vigilance. Therefore, the girl plays a charming melody on her flute, which makes the dragon swoon. Comparison of the sizes of flowers and the dragon with the girl leaves an impression of ambiguity. If the flowers are of a normal size, then the heroes acquire a doll-like scale, turning into a lizard and an elf. In this case, they do not look menacing at all, unlike the two previous versions of this composition. If the dragon and the girl are of standard size, then the flowers should become gigantic, like in the wild jungles of prehistoric times. Whichever is true, it is surreal in both cases. In this more friendly color scheme, this composition does not leave the impression of tension between two opposing forces. It is rather more idyllic, even pastoral. The fluorescent green flowers shine, radiographing through the trained dragon, which does not look menacing at all.
