this piece was done with a painted acrylic background with the repeat patterns done in in illustrator and imported into photoshop were most of the renrendering with a little help from painter was done. The bracelets were created in Z-Brush a 3d program I know only the rudiments of. And of course a great model to start with. Though if you notice they're significant changes to the proportions of the hands.The model wore her hair pulled back, no make up, belt, or giant breasts. I went to a snake and lizard shop to get reference for her bottom and finally the lightning bolts were hand drawn paths that were stroked with several passes of diff. colors at diff. opacities.
