I read as far back as the nineties that contemporary life is becoming quite insane. I made a mental note of that article in, I think, the New York Times, and moved on. Little did I know how insane it would become. I am reminded of an eighties tune by Fun Boy Three called, "The lunatics have taken over the asylum." It was a fun and catchy tune. I wish I could the same about our current reality. Most would say it's anything BUT. This is an 8.5 by 5.5 inches gel pen drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. It is another reason why I think The Joker was right when he made his face 'forever happy' in the comics. Remember folks, he isn't real but another joker IS. Original Jones Art still trying to make headway in a sea of lunacy here in northwest Austin, Texas. Does anyone have a plunger I can borrow?

Wonder if delusion is illusion with the negative sign, Charles. Same as atheism and "theism". Compared to the lifelong of dogs we live too long, however dogs are way happier and more content because they seem to hardly have any de- /illusions at all. Sorry for confusing your place of habitat. Still I go back to keeping my illusions. Best to your start of the week.Nikolay Semyonov 2 days ago
Living with illusions is stupid, but living without is boring. Similar about lunacy. Unfortunately, the one who knows that is never an illusionist:)) or lunatic. How's your Eastern Texas, Charles?Dave Matke 2 days ago
Well isn't he the dysphoric gent ? Nicely drawn though. : ) Perhaps it's still the same scary world as when I was a kid, hearing when JFK, MLK and RFK were all assassinated. Have you seen the movie "Idiocracy" a great film by Mike Judge ? Seems like we're headed that way too sometimes. Well as Eric Idle sang, always look on the bright side of life.Ray Steele 2 days ago
