Long Afternoon

This is another painting for my show at Western Colorado University. I hang next week on September 23. Exciting! This painting was inspired from the cliffs that are throughout the Western Slope of Colorado. A The scene depicts a sunlit cliff with rich warm tones. Several trees stand at the edge, overlooking a serene body of water.
