"Arc of the Ancient" is an abstracted form evoking movement and thus the life of ancient dolmens and megaliths, as they have been recorded to be actually attracting, storing, even generating their own energy field, creating the kind of environment where one can enter an altered state of consciousness. The abstract geometric matrix incorporated within the composition brings an element of contemporary life into the overall composition. Organic forms are characterized by naturally growing curves and biomorphic contours (such as the twisting of vines, the texture of leaves), embodying the fluidity and randomness of life; geometric forms, through abstract configurations like squares, circles, and triangles, reflect the ordered sense of artificial rationality.
