Sometimes you just want to escape to a place that's peaceful; a place without expectations or needs. Lucky for us, Mother Nature provides just such a place. The original was done in acrylic and then mixed with my art programs, which as some of you know already, I often do. I love creating art from nothing, and then enhancing it as much as I can. This one is called "Shadow Lake," because of the wide variety of color shadows in both the skies and lake's reflections, and it's the way I see the Earth...in all its glory - untouched by man. Wouldn't it be great if we could take what we know today and keep our hands, (for the most part,) off of its beauty so the Earth could shine through like this for all of us, every single day?
