An upward-swirling dolphin gives such a surreal, almost cosmic depth to the idea of being “beneath” us. So, I placed it on a cabinet below my toilet with the caption, “just think about what is under you!” I thought it was funny and confrontational in a playful sort of way...with a purpose: to weave their presence right into the daily lives of people who'd never stop to think otherwise.
