Artist Reply: Thanks Joanie. My wife doesn't say much here and there about whatever I do but she really liked it too. I came up with the idea because of something we talked about while I was shooting the remaining blossoms. She took out the dead ones and left the live ones, and they have many more days ahead of them, so I was like, what if I replace the dead flowers she took out with the ones when I shot when they were alive and take out the live ones. Lots of cuts and removing before getting to this point, so your compliment is most appreciated. Funny thing about it too, the circle at the bottom is our cook top and the lighting I used was from the hood above it. It really helped with the coloring on this one and the others I'll post later. Thanks again!
