President John F Kennedy- 1961-1963

In recognition of Presidents Day 2025- celebrated on 2-17-2025, I created this silhouetted portrait artwork of the 35th President of The United States of America- John Fitzgerald Kennedy, serving from 1961 until his tragic assassination in 1963. I was in the first grade when President Kennedy was killed. I still remember seeing him sitting on top of a motorcade car smiling, waving to a cheering crowd in 1962 while visiting Baltimore City, Maryland. I liked President Kennedy's full head of hair, and he and his glamourous wife-the then First Lady Mrs. Jacqueline Kennedy- made a stunning, regal-like couple. As a little girl, I could also relate to President Kennedy because his daughter Caroline was then and still is the same age as myself. I also thought his then toddler son- John F. Kennedy Jr. 'John-John' was cute as a button. I used the Paint program on my computer to produce my art.
