A Late Cretaceous Sprint

A pair of Thescelosaurus neglectus in a fast run. This artwork was completed in December 2003/January 2004 with a combination of graphite, charcoal, and carbon pencil on a 9"x12" cold press illustration board. Specifically, the dinosaurs were completed in graphite (mostly in the 2B through 7B range), the trees in carbon, and the ground, ferns, and background in charcoal. It appeared in the magazine entitled Prehistoric Times issue #64.
