Among all the surviving android varieties to wander the torn world of the Mutant Epoch, the medical android is the most prized by humankind. Both small dig teams and entire communities seek to either hire, enlist or forcibly compel these models into their service, although many times a standard medi-bot (described on page TME-179) is more practical and better equipped. A medical android is merely a very lifelike humanoid robot without multiple arms or attachments. It depends on its incredible knowledge of human physiology, a well-equipped facility, medical supplies and new era herbs, drugs and compounds to perform the seemingly miraculous surgeries and cures that they are so well known for.
