What I intended as a self-portrait revealed a child instead—seated, knees drawn to chest, arms wrapped around herself in a gesture both protective and profound. She is her own sanctuary, embodying the quiet resilience of those who carry their shelter within. Home transcends place; it is the infinite space we create to hold our own becoming.
