Stylized White Tiger in Blue Light

I created this tiger in 2001, a year after I started painting... to this day it is still one of my favorite artworks... It's a study in contrasts, figuratively and literally... a yin/yang almost... The side of his face highlighted in white light shows the beauty and majesty of this magnificent creature... while the blue highlights peering out of the dark suggests his fierce predatory instincts... I used photos for reference, to make sure I drew him accurately... it took me about 20 hours to conceptualize, sketch and paint him... "White Tiger" is acrylic on stretched canvas... 16x20" He may NOT be copied or reproduced in any way without my permission...
