Balloons over Cappadocia (Turkey)

In the Goreme nature reserve, millions of years ago, tuff and hard lava formed an enormous tuff cake, and over the centuries, deep ravines and table formations were formed in it due to the extremes of the continental climate and the Halys River. Today this area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and tourists from all over the world enjoy this natural wonder that looks like a huge cheese with holes in it. Flying over the region by hot air balloon is the ultimate experience and, in the early morning in the summer, as long as a gentle breeze blows, numerous hot air balloons take the airspace with the tourists, to enjoy the spectacular view from above.
