From the series corners of Spain "The Asturian hórreo" the word hórreo comes from the Latin horreum, which designated a building in which fruits of the field were kept, especially grain. In Asturias, corn, potatoes, onions... everything that the countryside supplied was stored. In Asturias there are two types of buildings: the hórreo and the Panera. The most numerous of them, the granary: a building with a square floor plan that is made up of a wooden chamber, often with a corridor, which is supported on four feet, or stone studs.
