The Edmund Fitzgerald

2 1/2' x 1 1/2' original. The Legend of the Edmund Fitzgerald, this ship went down in the Great Lakes and many songs have been written about it. The Gails of November came early, and all the ship's crew were lost. Hand sketched then inlaid with several colors of rare Devonian age marble and Dolomite marble. The sky is a very rare silver ore to give it that stormy effect. Entered into the Legends Gallery.

WOW, WONDERFULLY DONE SCOTT. OF COURSE WE MICHIGANDERS KNOW ALL ABOUT THE EDMUND FITZGERALD.

Artist Reply: Thanks Joanie. I thought this was a good way to honor the ship and crew of the Edmund Fitzgerald. It is one of those stories that should be heard for thousands of years. When we were moving from Montana, I had wanted to move to Michigan, but my daughter talked me out of it, she wanted to move to California. She was surprised to see that California also had four seasons. She doesn't care for snow or cold.
