28" x 19" oval. Legends of the Mermaids have been around since we first sailed the sea. To this day people still report seeing Mermaids. The water was very challenging on this piece, gemstones of Malachite and pure Calcite Crystals. It is said that a Calcite Crystal has twice the luster of a diamond, that is due to its double refractive power. Calcite Crystals are very rare to find in pure marble deposits.
