This painting depicts the vibrant green of the local desert due to so much rain in southern California. It is a small sketch done on site on a day when finally we had sunshine, which illuminated the brittlebush's crown of golden daisylike blooms. 5"x 7", soft pastel and pastel pencil; 2005. {item is not for sale}
