“Where is he who is born king of the Jews” asked the wisemen. The scripture says that when Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled (in Matthew 2 verse 3). Why would he “feel” troubled? Maybe because he (Herod) wasn’t Jewish & maybe because his “king” status came by way of Rome.
