I played a Boosey and Hawkes trumpet from grade school through HS, Mr. Jack. It was a fine instrument---which I still possess these many years later. This is a wood model, I think. The pads still seem to be in pretty good shape. Your photo took me back in time. :)

Artist Reply: Charles: I believe it is wood. My grandson is playing clarinet. I think the instrument was his other grandfathers but it’s in an old plastic case. Next time I am at my daughters I will find out.
