Another take on Joan of Arc. I really wanted to create something dynamic in terms of lighting, and I felt the subject matter suited this goal quite well. I also wanted to tackle something a bit simpler after completed a very complex illustration, so illustrating a portrait was definitely something in my comfort zone. Overall I'm pleased with how this illustration turned out and I hope you enjoy as well!
