Titled: MIDNIGHT FLIGHT--What I'd consider one of my favorite works so far--it's midnight and an Eastern Enchantress rides her beloved black swan to some mysterious destination. Is she heeding a call for help or just enjoying a night time ride lit by a benevolent full moon? This was inspired by a story from a fairy tale book featuring Asian and Eastern Tales that I've read many years ago. The images that coalesced in my mind as I read the book has stayed with me all this time. After all these years, the piece that was started long ago is finally complete! Done in gouache, some acrylic, and inks.
