This is an original piece which was created for an art competition known as " Art from the heart" which was selected first prize and now belongs to the local community centre. My inspiration for this piece comes from nature, the ocean. Each section has been built up in layers using repeated brush strokes. It is very effective and shows movement, balance and different shades and tones. Each section has 15 to 20 colours being used layer upon layer. My challenge for this piece was getting all the different colours to work in order to bring the composition together. Not for sale as it own by the local community centre who now have the copyright to this piece. Thanks for viewing
