I have a portrait I made of Poe decades ago in probably my early to mid-twenties. I hadn't anything suitable for the Halloween gallery, so I tried my poor handicapped left hand at another take on one of my all-time favorite authors. It isn't perfect but I do think it is expressive. This is a 6 by 4.5 inches gel pen drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. This is another bit of Original Jones Art coming out of northwest Austin, Texas.

Artist Reply: Sorry to be so late to reply, Nikolay. I was still in rehab at the time I tried drawing again so I was happy to get some semblance of the author. Edgar was a complex guy. Hope all is good for you today. :)

Artist Reply: This was drawn shortly after my 2nd surgery on my arm and wrist, Dave. The 2nd surgery was to remove a metal bar that kept my wrist immovable. I have it as a 'souvenir' of sorts--as well as the three screws that goes with it. :)
