Anna, Portrait of a Survivor

This woman is my tribute both to Gustav Klimpt and to the survivors of World War II. In her head is the black and white memory of carnage. I can't imagine living with such memories, I hope I have imagined it with the respect I feel for these amazing survivors.

WOW! Amazing piece. Love the decorative details, manipulating Klimt-ish style to your own. ANNA is so intense, she actually reminds me of the more jarring figures created by Klimt's contemporary, Egon Schiele (spelling?). I like what your intention was in creating this and I admire you for it.
