Alan Turner was a very good painter and copyist of old masters work. Although not very proficient at producing work made a little side line in painting Kids and animals. He was a character in class constantly boasting about where he had been, all to be taken with a pinch of salt. I was shocked to hear of his death two years ago. A nice man with plenty of stories to tell anyone willing to listen.
