This painting is an original watercolor, and I took a workshop by Kay Barnes on the treated paper technique. I learned how to prepare the paper, add colors which react like yupo paper, and most importantly, was able to create the scene without relying on a resource photo. It's very challenging and at times stressful to do, but the final painting is one of my best.
