Sunset river Wharfe Ilkley

Just a short distance upstream, from the iron bridge walkway over the River Wharfe in Ilkley. The river turns left just at the point where the sun sets behind a thick band of trees. I have narrowed the river and raised the right hand bank slightly to give the river a more stream like impression (Artistic License) I have spent may hours here with my brother and have seen the sky turn from blue through many shades of orange, mauve, purple browns and subtle shades of red. The English Countryside at its best. Though just round the corner lays the hustle and bustle of Ilkley town centre.
