A grey cold day, indeed, Nikolay. Humans created the concept of time and love counting down and then initiating something they barely understand. Years, days, months, decades are all the same all simultaneous to the universe as disinterested non-observer. I hope you are doing great and feeling well---both help when swimming against the current which is what some of us do. :)
Artist Reply: With all my three hands and four legs I fully agree with you, Charles: humans have always attributed too much to their deeds. so they had to invent something to mark their beginnings and ends. This particular thing helped us to observe the beginning of another year and express hopes that it would supercede the previous one, hopefully, in good things. We are safe here and my wishes of same your way.
