Soft pastel on Pastelmat card, 24 x 30 cm. Captures the strong Light/Dark contrast on-site in my local canyon through which the River. Sense runs through. Some 30 minutes by car SW of Bern, Switzerland. Initial underpainting, using Faber Castell pastels and a piece of foam piping insulation, followed by further layers using Unison pastels. On hold untill I make an oil painting from it and from life.
