Study of Pink Roses In Glass Vase

The photo of this painting might be slightly cropped at the top of the frame by my scanner. In this quick and relatively loose study, I feel I am getting closer to the feeling I eventually want to impart with the roses. I mean to take it much further, but this painting is a start in the direction I want to go in with regard to painting the flowers in oil.
