THE ONLY POISON SNAKE IN MICHIGAN. RATTLE SNAKE. AND THE FIRST TIME IN ALL THESE YEARS I'VE EVER SEEN ONE. IT WAS SWIMMING IN MY POND AND WOULD GO AWAY FROM ME EVERY TIME IT WOULD GET CLOSE AND I'D TRY GETTING PICTURES OF IT. IT LOOKS BIG HERE BUT WAS A SMALL ONE AND I DREW THE PICTURE UP TO GET A BETTER LOOK. THEY ARE SHY AND DOES NOT HAVE THE BAD POISON AS A REGULAR RATTLE SNAKE.

An amazing picture! You were brave to get it, Joanie. All your pictures are great!Claudio Barake 27 Jul 2021
What an amazing picture, looks like an impressionist painting! I had no idea rattlesnakes could slide so gently on a pond. Global warming, even rattlers need a refresh!Dale Newman 26 Jul 2021

We have lots of rattlesnakes in California but I didn't know they could swim!
