When I first started Chinese Brush Painting, I did not embrace the black ink. I wanted to paint what to my Western eye were pretty pictures. Unfortunately this chrome has a blue hue which does not do justice to the original. Chinese Brush Painting on mulberry paper. Original 27 1/2" x 37". Copyright 1992-2005. Wendy De Rycke. This is captivating ! Very rich, smooth and delicate. This has Oriental Flavor but I think the deep richness and interpretation here is clearly Dutch.
