Celebration

When I first started Chinese Brush Painting, I did not embrace the black ink. I wanted to paint what to my Western eye were pretty pictures. Unfortunately this chrome has a blue hue which does not do justice to the original. Chinese Brush Painting on mulberry paper. Original 27 1/2" x 37". Copyright 1992-2005. Wendy De Rycke. This is captivating ! Very rich, smooth and delicate. This has Oriental Flavor but I think the deep richness and interpretation here is clearly Dutch. Certainly.....that is Never Bad, even if you had intended it to be clearly something else. Sometimes one must say...it's just beautiful No matter what !! Glenn Garrison ~

This is wondeful, the background fits perfectly.

Lovely composition with all the "smooth" colors.
