Marie ,,Lady Birds as we call them out here are absolutely fascinating,they are the ones that control our population of spreading of aphids,yes put one on a Peonies flower just watch her devour them,,,yes she's ready to take off,her set of wings are in the back,they don't take off all that well,that outer shell is there Armour ,there protection to there body,,,you have here an Award Winner of a Photo,to get kind of a treasure of a picture is something you really have to be patient with,Fantastically & Skillfully captured,,,,,Well done ,as this is really an education for many to see.,Myself I've only seen it a handful of times..You should be very proud of this Photograph.
