One night I had a dream of a field of poppies. So vibrant they stood out from the otherwise so dull dreams and when I awoke they were still etched in my mind. Sometimes when I paint I paint from the surroundings where I am, or when looking at pictures I've taken as inspiration. But sometimes, it's all just something in my dreams. I let my imagination decide the brushstrokes. It might not reflect reality as much but what it does let me completely empty out my head.. Acrylic painting on primed thick paper.
