These massive, 630kg mollusks are able to inhabit both fresh and saltwater. When open, they extend 20 foot long grasping tubes to snatch smaller creatures and feed on them while the prey is still alive. Yes, these things have a magnificent pearl. http://www.outlandarts.com/mutantbestiary1.htm
