They are so clever, I've got lots of them in the tree in front of my house. If I'm a little later with feeding them, they go sit on a branch before my window and stare at me. :)
Nice photo of this beautiful luminous plumaged bird,,they are a menace to many other song birds,as they are robbers.,on the other hand they consume .Illinois of unwanted insects for the farmers.,They are extremely intelligent ,we had one as a pet,,,,if you give him a piece of food,he'd go onto the grass ,place it on the grass then ,Scurry around finding the biggest leaf & would place it on the food,,,I thought watching this was absolutely Amazing,,,But he didn't stop there ,he'd fly around the finding a Pebble he fly back & place it on top of the leaf,,,wow,,,,this was there way of storing there food,until later ,very similar like watching a Squirrel burying a nut.,
