For some time I had the interest of painting people from different cultures of the world, this passion for portraiture was awakening in me the way to express in some way that humanity is one, although we are different, we all belong to one family of man, that there are no different races of human beings, we all start from the same spiritual essence, the heart there represented at the foot of the tree with a small embryo, reminds us that we were all gestated from a common ancestor, and that we all we are emotional beings who feel, love, cry and therefore we should be hurt by all kinds of injustice and discrimination whatever their nature. Currently, racism cannot be scientifically justified, as has been demonstrated in recent years, by the different investigations that have addressed this problem. Races do not exist, neither biogenetically nor scientifically. Men by their common origin, belong to the same genetic repertoire, this is clearly represented in my work, with the tree that symbolizes the same genetic repertoire for all humanity. Each one of us belongs to the same species, and unique genetic history. Consequently, I have built a symmetrical composition, which gives us a sense of order and unity, suitable for this theme, distributing the children's faces and all the elements in an equitable way, allowing to express a sense of balance and equality. Seeing our own humanity in front of other beings fosters understanding and acceptance of the values ??and priorities of others. The walls with the columns on the sides are a physical reminder of the failure of friendly nations to solve their internal and binational problems in a just and peaceful way. " On the other hand, we can see a mighty river that takes the shape of our State of South Carolina, and some characteristic elements of this place, such as the sea shells, the typical "Magnolia" flower, the flag, etc. This work of undoing racism and building a just society is sacred, the fight to ensure the protection of all human life, honoring human dignity. Ensuring equal treatment for all people is therefore at the center of all the work that is being done to spread the word about the protection of human rights. And finally I want to share a famous phrase, Nelson Mandela: "No one is born hating another person because of the color of their skin, because of their origin or their religion. People can learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to learn to love, because love is found in form more natural in the heart of man than its opposite. "
