Artist Reply: Merci mon amie !! quand ces oiseaux de grande envergure sortent de l'eau , ils mettent beaucoup de temps à se lisser pour se dégorger , ils sont lourds et peut moins étanches que les autres comme les canards
Because after approx.24 hours in the water ,the feathers ,there plumage just like all water birds ,actually gets saturated with water,they need to take time out to get unruffled there feathers & Get From there Oil gland ,spread throughout there bod,basically water proofing themselves.,Even All stretched out to dry off there feathers,Beautiful photos,Birds can drown if they don't get out of the water to do this.
