I continue my study of different birds in flight -- they are all different. Here an Egret flies over the waves in the surf at a public beach in New Smyrna called "the Wall". When trying to photograph the flight one must use a panning method -- the same that you use in sports photography and follow them as best you can with a telephoto lens. If hand-held this means that your image might not be tack-sharp without a tripod but it will be worth it.
