Very interesting construction. It seems the forward portal is a part of a series, or at least a second, visible support. Exposed rebar indicates a fair amount of concrete has disintegrated. Do you know of it's original purpose ?
Artist Reply: I believe it was a railway tunnel, but not 100% sure.
