One of the most difficult shots for me (especially as I get older) is capturing an image of a bird flying directly over me at the beach and probably is for you too. You follow focus as best you can and hope for the best with digital cameras it is actually a little easier than the old fashion motor drive SLR film cameras with mirrors that flopped up and down. Here is an example showing the wing span of a Brown Pelican as he was flying over me and it was enlarged and printed in duotone warm filters.
